Bournemouth & Poole Preservation Club Limited
Founded 1979 - Preservation Is Our Motto
The Club for enthusiasts interested in the preservation of: Vintage, Classic & Custom - Cars, Bikes, Commercials, Buses, Steam & Miniature Steam, Tractors, Military & Rescue Vehicles, Stationary Engines, Collections, Models and other interests.
Bournemouth & Poole Preservation Club was formed in November 1979 and was set up to promote Preservation and to support those in the area who were interested in preserving or collecting.
Our membership is not restricted to people living in Bournemouth or Poole and we have members who live in all surrounding areas such as Wimborne, Christchurch and Lymington and even Wales.
Are you the owner of a Classic or Vintage Vehicle, a Stationary Engine, a Military vehicle or even a Steam Engine; or do you have an interesting collection of bottles, thimbles, beer mats, toy cars or postcards? If so we could be the Club for you.
We also welcome those who are not fortunate enough to own any of the above, but who like minded and interested in preserving our past, for future generations.
We meet on the second Thursday of every month at Hamworthy Sports & Social Club, Magna Road, Canford Magna, Wimborne, BH21 3AP from 7.30p.m in the small function / skittles room.
We may have a quiz, an auction night, collections night, BBQ evening, play skittles, have a slide show or guest speaker, or just sit and talk to friends, we also hold a raffle draw at the end of each meeting.
Membership to our club is only £14.00 per year which includes the clubs bi-monthly newsletters.
Subs Night is every January and as a member you will receive newsletters every other month, containing various articles and news of local events.
If you are unable to attend our meetings the newsletter will be E-mailed, posted out to you or even made available for download from this site.
Please complete the following form to find out more information about BPPC or any of our events.
